What Our Clients Say
Where Turtle Reality excel over other web design and build companies is not only in their clarity of design (which leaves users in no doubt as to where to find the information they are looking for), but also in their creative approach, always willing to explore or suggest new ideas to improve the site.

Catalyst 2
Logo re-design, site design and build
Background
Catalyst 2 had a working site that was looking a little tired and didn't offer them the functionality and flexibility that they needed. They also wanted to distinguish themselves from their competitors in a cut throat market.
Logo
We went though a number of versions looking at colours, fonts and different ways of combining all of the elements but in the end a very simple grey and orange was seen to have the right personality for the brand. It's a market dependent on technical expertise, customer service and longevity so we tried to make the brand friendly, trustworthy and expert.
At each stage of the design we presented our ideas to the client by email and followed these up with a chat and or emails. This collaborative process told us what the client liked and didn't like about our designs and got closer to a solution which was right for them.
Web Design
We looked at other companies in the same sector and at the sites of close competitors. This gave us an idea of what we had to do to give catalyst2 an edge. Again we came up with some rough ideas, emailed them to the client, got feedback and moved forwards. The initial design stage involves getting the structure of the site right, deciding the contents and importance of elements on the home page and the look and feel of the interface - buttons, boxes, arrows etc.
Once we were happy with the homepage design we applied this design to key pages from the site. This allowed us to demonstrate how the navigation worked, how sidebar modules could be repurposed and pointed out any shortcomings in the homepage design.
Programming
Once the site had a clear template design we set about turning that into html. We build all our sites using css layouts and semantic markup which makes it easier for screen readers used by the visually impaired to understand - and also for Google and other search engines to comprehend.
Content Management System
Programming of the CMS started almost as soon as the site structure and specification for the packages was finalised. All the packages are updateable by catalyst2 through our simple to use CMS.
Client Feedback
Catalyst 2 had this to say about their new site a few months after going live:
"The site is looking great and we have definitely increased our business since it was launched."
