Red Earth Organics
Site design and build
Background
Red Earth Organics came to us with a logo and a clear idea of what they wanted on their website. They are an organic veg box scheme based in Nottinghamshire and they are one of many customers who we have never actually met!
Site Development
We started off with the logo and from this we took shapes, colours and a type style and spun them out into a look and feel for the site. We wanted the home page to quickly outline the proposition of the site - it's fresh, it's organic and it's delivered to your door! We are particulary pleased with the format of the sidebars which look good enough to eat!
We very quickly had a layout that worked and the next step was to figure out the best way of displaying the contents of the boxes. This content is all managed by Red Earth, so all of the text needs to be html text rather than images and the structure also needed to allow for different amounts of information in any slot.
Client Feedback
A clear, simple site that is very effective, the client said this: "things are going well and growing steadily and lot of that is down to the website through which I receive over 80% of my orders and is a great interface to my existing customers. All in all I'm well pleased!"
